Annie Luján (she/her) is a Dora Award winning Costa Rican – Canadian actor, clown and theatre creator.
Annie has worked with many of Canada’s leading theatre companies, including: Soulpepper Theatre, Factory Theatre, Bad Hats, The Grove, Bad New Days, Outside The March and Wee Festival.
In 2024, Annie co-created the cult-favourite clown show MONKS, which has gone on to sell out runs at The 2024 Toronto Fringe Festival, Crows Theatre and The Theatre Centre.
She is a graduate of the 2022 Soulpepper Academy and holds a BFA in Acting from Concordia University.
As a theatre artist, Annie is passionate about creating work that celebrates theatre’s presence with an audience. To every project, she brings a desire for ensemble performances, rigorous comedy, presence, physicality and magic.
